In an Operating System , hibernation is a process that minimizes the window startup time and increases performance. Like, if you want to keep some files and other programmes open then you can leave your system in Hibernate state (mode). After hibernation, when you restart your system, all the files that were running will be restored as lefted.
STEPS :
To enable Hibernation, follow the steps given below:
- Click on START button and then select "Control Panel".
- Now click on "Performance and Maintenance".
- Now select the "Power Options".
- Select the hibernate tab and mark or click on "Enable hibernation".
- Now click on APPLY and then OK to end the configuration process.
- Now, again click on START button and select "Turn off Computer".
- A ''Turn Off Computer" dialog box will appear, press "Shift" button on your keyboard and then click on Hibernate.
